Saturday – Informal workshops and performances for young people interested in
playing acoustic music. For young folks who do not play an instrument, there will an
instrument demonstration and a “hands on” chance to try playing several instruments.
For the beginner, there will be instruction available for all string instruments and an
introduction to jamming. Finally, for the intermediate and advanced youngsters, there
will be organized jams and open mic opportunities. A limited number of time-slots will
be available for participants who would like to arrange for a private lesson during the
festival. Parents and other "Kids of all ages" are welcome.
